The royal floating palace (Bale Kambang) of the former Balinese kingdom which was built in 1714, it is located in Cakranegara, right opposite to the Pura Meru temple that was built in 1720.
Bertais Traditional Market (Sweta Market)
The biggest daily market in Lombok and center of trading. Its just like many other market in Indonesia, many things are available here such as fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs and spices, rice and fish, local artifacts, also you can find people selling cloth or Sarong in this market. For local people who is not used to do shopping at Mall or Supermarket, they will only go to this kind of market to fullfil their daily needs from food to clothing. Its also located adjacent to the City Bus station where many buses from Bali / Java / Sumbawa stopping by and taking passenger from / to.
Narmada Water Palace
This historical summer place is used to be a palace of Anak Agung Gede Ngurah, one of Balinese king from Karangasem Bali, built in 1727. the name Narmada Was derived from the name of a holy river india. It also meants ‘tear” or “unknown water”. Narmada was built for worshipping the Hindu god, Shiva.Here you see a miniature of Mount Rinjani and Segara Anak lake with a holy temple on the top.
This is a unique and sacred temple of to belief, Hindus and Moslem Waktu Telu who worship together in one place for their own belief. It was built around 1714.it is the oldest and holiest temple in lombok, owned by both Hindus Moslem Waktu telu.
Lendang Bajur Traditional Sasak Market
A small traditional sasak market where you can find all the daily needs of local people, from food (a lot of local vegetables, herbs, spices, rice, fish, fruit) as well as clothing. This market is the oldest one in Mataram – Lombok, and has been there for over 15 years.
Pusuk Monkey Forest
This is a tropical reserve rain forest in Lombok. It has a fantastic ocean view and there is friendly monkeys playing on the roadside, it’s defienity worth a stop and feeding them. There are two species of monkey can be mainly found in West Nusa Tenggara, Macaca fasicularis and Tracypithecus auratus. Macaca fasicularis is a dominant species.
